Mine seem to be so bad tempered at times. Villagers usually just argue with the nursing moms (probably arguing over what skill to give them) and whenever I'm trying to water the field, at least one villager stops after two or three trips and goes and complains to someone!

However, when I let them do what ever they want and stop cracking the whip, they joke and tell stories a lot.

I've ever caught a number of masters walking up to others and "teaching" although I couldn't figure out if this gained them any skill or not.
