Does the golden child ever age? Mine seems to be stuck at 5, even though children that were the same age as him are now 7! I have NEVER touched the clock. Does he stay a child?

He never seems to get ill either or die either.

Part of his magic I guess!

He can get sick, but it will take a special event. There are at least a couple that will effect children and it will effect him. I just had one where he got sic. And I wish I did not have a healer, cuz I would like to see if he would die. (Clearly only for testing, I would not wish that otherwise.

Definitely - haven't seen it (yet) in the Windows version, but in the Palm version, my GC got attacked twice by monkeys - the first attack brought him to half-health, and the second one killed him off.

Is it wrong that I'd like to see him, like, slashed by a tiger or something? I've had enough of his constant rainbows and bubbles of serenity, his smug alien head and shiny robe of delight. Before slashing him, the tiger could taunt him: "Golden Child, you'll never grow a beard!" "Golden Child, you'll never know the Going Indoors of a woman!" "Yeah, Golden Child, make some berries with this!" You know, or something like that. Maybe he could just get dysentary or something.

I do, however, think it's funny that he's a top-notch breeder at age 5.

Top-notch, I agree, but it's all theory and no hands-on experience

I'm quite fond of the GC actually.

And he can be very helpful! He creates berries, fills the crops, creates food. And if my villagers get hit with a massive disease, he keeps through constant parties until they are all healed again and back to perfect health.

He a great little multitasker, just sometimes has a bad timing!

Anyone else notice how GC looks like Bod?

(And non-Brits will most probably be like "who?")

Well, this Canadian non-Brit IS going to say "Who"?

lol...Okay, yes, uncanny resemblance. Actually, I think I'm more impressed that you looked that up for me! Thanks!

And if that's the kind of cartoons you had growing up, you have my condolences...

Not at all regretting Canada now! Way way better cartoons.

I wouldn't say that Bod was in any way a "typical" Brit cartoon. Everything, from the animation to the story-telling was very surreal to put it mildly.

But I've drifted onto a topic that belongs on another web-site!

Yup, we have drifted, but that's what PM's are for...

Still think the GC is a neat little guy though!
