I've been watching my "thriving" village for a couple days now, and my villagers arent getting sick that i can tell or even weakened, they are simply...dieing. Its like Sudden Old Age Death Syndrome or something. I was watching one villager specifically who was 76 years old. Full bar of health. I went to walmart and came home. He died at 77. I was only gone maybe an hour. This is happening with everyone i have no villagers weakened from being elderly at all in my village yet people re dropping like flies constantly around 75-80

Same thing is happening on mine Monk.

I've deduced that since I left all of my adults on breeding for three days they are now ganging up on the old villagers when I'm not looking to make room for their philandering.

Just a thought, otherwise, no explanation.

I had a 41 year old male "drop dead"!

And the worst part about it was he was the ONLY male over the age of 7 !!

I came back to the game one time (early on) and found 6 seven year olds dead but no indication as to why. I assume disease but no notification of events that may have caused it.

Gotta love those quirks!!

Whenever you lose one or more villagers unexpectedly, you should exit the game and check the log. You'll probably find an explanation in there. Instructions on how to do that are here.

Yes, I found out about the logs much later and I had already deleted that game. If the log is still there, can't figure out which one it was.

I will know for the next obscure incident though. Thanks Barbara!

The log is overwritten each time you exit the game, so unless you took steps to preserve it, it's long gone!
