I'm pretty new to the game, am on my third village, first two died of starvation. Village three is bigger, further along but still always on the edge of starving. I accidently left one of them with the breeder checked and went to do something. Came back and had three nursing moms. Now they are barely making it to the harvest, my poplulation is 15 and I keep hoping that some of the older ones will die! Less mouths to feed! Isn't that terrible?! I'm so tired of hunting for mushrooms to help them survive from one harvest to the next!

dont increase your population so fast, is the key to succeeding early on. I usually dont go over 7 or 8 till i have level 3 farming. Just my thoughts

success!!! finally got to level 3 farming and none too soon as most of my villagers were weakened from lack of food. now the food bin is filling up quickly. will use your suggestion for my next village! thanks!
