My tribe was decimated by a mysterious disease followed by a severe drought (you really need to ease up on the negative 'chance cards'! ) My current population is just 4 (2 adults of breeding age, a child of 2 and a baby). My master builder was one of those who died and I'm left with a trainee. As I have rebuilt the ruins and carved the idol; what else can I do to advance him to 'Master' so that I can find the treasure? Obviously the population's not large enough to warrant the building of any more huts.

I'd be a shame to have to begin again - I have researched everything fully - bar fertility and medicine - and I've only 5 challenges to complete.

Cheers

Claire

You don't have to start again. Select building for your current builder. He will keep fixing your current hut, and by doing so increase his skill. I would also keep breeding one of your females to slowly bring up you population. You can "finish" the game with the peeps you got, but it will take awhile. Now might be a good to start an additional game!

Nevern start again - it's more challenging that way. Keep dragging that villager to the hut - they will fix or examine it. The end is when the boulder is removed by a certain 'special' villager. Need a hint? Go to the villager guide post and that can help you along if you want it.

I agree, don't restart. It'll be a tough at it to finish but imagine how much more gratifying it will be when you finish after a set back like that though.

Warren has a good idea as well with starting another game in the meantime.

Best of luck with your village! Kinda hope that never happens to me though (knock on wood).
