Hello everyone!

Are there Apple users out there who've been having trouble running the FT trial version? I couldn't seem to make the program run. My mac is an iBook G4, OS 10.2.

Will the full version run on your mac machines?

If the demo won't run on your iBook, the full version won't, either. I run Fish Tycoon successfully on all of my Macs, but they all have adequate video memory (VRAM), which seems to be the deciding factor on whether or not Fish Tycoon will run on a particular Mac. If you have less than 32MB, you will probably not be able to run the game.

Oh, I see. I guess that's the problem. I have exactly 32MB, so that mustn't be enough either. too bad. I really enjoyed the online version

That should be enough VRAM. What symptoms are you having? We should be able to figure out what the problem is.

When I try to run the program, I get the following message: The application FishTycoon quit unexpectedly.

I'm not sure that I understand why the error message shows the OS version as 10.4.7 and you stated that you're running 10.2. Is it possible that there is a problem with your operating system installation?

I updated recently via automatic update... would that be the problem?

I'm not sure exactly what the problem is without more information. The best thing at this point is probably for you to submit a support form.
