Hey guys and gals, Well i wanted to say hi and tell you about my village, I have been reading on here that some of the new guys just like me are having trouble, now my first village i had dies in 8 hours due to lack of food then i learned from my mistakes and now i have 38 people and 10 puzzles done and it was not as hard as i thought it would be, for all the new users i will tell you my secrets not all but some, 1) when you start out put 3 people on Research 2 people on food and 1 on building what gives you your tech points is the research, 2) dont buy the building first buy food so they can get started building is only good if you want a bigger tribe and you can get that later, 3) now if you want to buy the build tech next good but i bought the science next that way my tech points would grow faster and then i just went from there with the tech. Now i only need 6 more puzzles and im good. now some of you may say buy the building first so you can expand your tribe with children, you dont want that kids eat the same or more food then the grown ups and so your food will go down alot and then you have starving tribe members and thats no good. but this helped me and now i have only 4 more techs to get and i have mastered them all, but one thing still is bothering me about this game, what the heck is the school for cause the kids arnt learning anying when i bang the drumb and they all come running i think i need to get a master score in every tech to teach them but im not sure someone help me

When you have a new child - look at the details - some of them will already have some knowledge of one of the skills. The School added these to a new child.

Ok still stupid to have a school and no teacher to teach them other skills while they are still young, i now have 90 villagers and 30% of them keep telling me they are worried about houseing so i think that a school is stupid when we need more housing.

Hey, welcome to the forum! Glad you're enjoy the game and the forum.

You are maxed at 90 villagers (well technically with twins and triplets you could have up to 92 but same dif). Anyways, the worried about housing is aparently a glitch that the LDW team is working on so for now, ignore it. Means nothing.
As for the school, aside from allowing your babies to be born with a starting level in a skill, yeah, pretty much useless. But it is amusing! Wait until you have a whole bunch of kids running around then bang the drum. It's funny to watch.
