I keep getting boy babies after boy babies does anyone notice some parents are more likely to breed girls than others? And also what is the point of the school?

I have not seen any parents being more likely to produce boys or girls. It is a random thing, but what you are described is common. I've lost a village or two because my villagers would not produce any girls. Then again, my current game, I've had four straight girls. Such is life. You just have to keep trying, but make sure you have a good food source.

As far as the school, you can read about it at this Spoiler thread.

I had a village with just one girl and she was a child. I had to wait til she got old enough to breed and then I set her to Breeding as her "tech".

I don't really want to think about the "inner-breeding" issue that will follow! LOL

Yeah, let's not go there! They might just look like this guy!

You can't until it is released from the mother.

I had the opposite. My first six babies were all girls! I was worried they would go extinct with no new daddies.

I'm a newbie here, but it's my experience that school is just there; no point really. You can't do anything to affect it.
