Hey guys.

I have my game set to 2x and it seems like it moves faster when it is NOT open. Is this true? Does the 2x feature move quicker when the game is closed?

The game speed affects only aging and other time-dependent game functions when Virtual Villagers is running. It has no effect on the villagers' movements or work/play habits, which are determined by their walking speed and activity choices. That results in an inevitable difference between what happens when the game is running, and when it's off.

What about earning tech points? Will I notice this happens faster or slower when the game is up? Or is this one of those things that doesn't change.
