Hello
i had my master farmer do fishing and they got fish but it didnt come up in my puzzle as completed?
not sure if i missed something

Are you asking about fishing in the ocean, or Puzzle 6? Normal fishing is not a puzzle in Virtual Villagers - it's something the villagers learn through their research.

If the villager doesn't make it all the way to the food bin with the catch, the puzzle won't be completed. Villagers can be interrupted by many different things. Some doofus probably came up and tried to mate with your farmer at the most inopportune time! Did you actually see the popup message and did the villagers celebrate?

Your villagers need to learn how to fish by researching Harvesting technology.

Your researchers are the villagers who earn the research points that you spend on technology, so it's important to have them researching. The farmers are the ones who provide food for the villagers to eat. They can only forage at the beginning of the game, and depend on the researchers to get them to higher levels of technology, so that they can farm and fish.

I haven't completed the fishing puzzle in my game, but my villagers are constantly fishing (and returning the fish or crabs to the food bin). Any ideas? I have plenty of Master Scientists and Farmers and a population of 91.

i just left my guys doin that reshearchin at that table for like 2 hours and he still at dept scientist the other 2 are at that berry bush and i only have 500 berry left on that tree so can u gimmmie a clue cuse that link u sent didnt really help

That puzzle is not caught in the ocean. Any you will need a really good farmer! I mean a really, really good farmer! It is a special fish. that lives in another body of water.

You will need two things to start fishing. 1. You will need to have the right level of food research (or farming) and your villagers will need access to the ocean. Once you have those two, just send your farmers to the ocean, they will take care of the rest!!

You don't need master farmers to fish. Any of the villagers can fish.

You need to have a very high level of farming before they will know how. Do you get my drift??

Your villagers learn how to farm with level two. But they will not know how to fish until level 3.
