Your researchers are the villagers who earn the research points that you spend on technology, so it's important to have them researching. The farmers are the ones who provide food for the villagers to eat. They can only forage at the beginning of the game, and depend on the researchers to get them to higher levels of technology, so that they can farm and fish.

I haven't completed the fishing puzzle in my game, but my villagers are constantly fishing (and returning the fish or crabs to the food bin). Any ideas? I have plenty of Master Scientists and Farmers and a population of 91.

i just left my guys doin that reshearchin at that table for like 2 hours and he still at dept scientist the other 2 are at that berry bush and i only have 500 berry left on that tree so can u gimmmie a clue cuse that link u sent didnt really help

You don't need master farmers to fish. Any of the villagers can fish.

You need to have a very high level of farming before they will know how. Do you get my drift??
