Ok Im getting concerned. My village only has like 1517 tech points. How do I get more? I have three guys doing research, and can they only do research at that table? Three women nursing babies, seems like forever too.
In order to get to any next level Ive got to have like 2500 Tech points and at the rate Im going Ill never get there.
Are there skills that earn you more tech points over others. Oh one of my ladies is a Master Doctor. YEAH!!! For that alone I think I should have more tech points. My guys have been doing "research" since I started the game which was at 1pm Saturday, July 5th.

Well, in the begining the tech points really do take a while.

I assume if you've got a nursing mother you've taken care of your food supply?

Maybe now that your doctor is a master, you can have her working on research as well, to hurry things up. The only way make the tech points gather faster is
a) put more people at the table or
b) buy the science upgrade with your techpoints, then they will gather quicker.

Thanks Fierrah. I figured out if everything else is ok, food and building, then I can have all my villagers doing research and my tech points went up rather quickly.
Same for clearing the beach and once I was able to get the next level of Harvesting having everyone help plant crops and watering that area.

I'm new but just want to make sure I'm doing this right....

I've upgraded my food to level 2 and I'm wondering "What now?"

Do I upgrade my construction? Or just hang out until I have enough points to upgrade the food to level 3?

I just started, but I had to delete one village because they were going to starve to death. Go for the food upgrades first. Fish make a big difference.
