If you don't wait mushroom from disapparing pausing the game won't work

I wish kid will pick mushroom by himself so that I won't have to drag kid to the mushroom

i have just started and i have had millions of mushrooms......... THERE IS NO NOISE!!!!!

Yeah I dont hear any noise. The only noise I do hear is a cooing sound like a bird and I cant figure it out. Its either the kids or the mom's nursing. I dont know.
