I am running windows XP with all current drivers updated and even uninstalled my Norton Antivirus and when i go to run Fish Tycoon i get a "cannot run program with a debugger in memory" error...i have even started up the comp with all startup programs off and i still get the error....what is the root of this issue and how can i fix it???

From which site did you download the game? Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the game?

bought it from AOL....they sent me here to get it fixed...have not reinstalled it in fear of using up more of the 5 "renewals" i get when i purchased it

We haven't seen that error reported in the forums before. To get support from LDW, please fill out the support form with the details of your purchase and a complete description of the error.

i sent in a Support Report in yesterday...and i realize it was a holiday yesterday...but i havent gotten a reply yet...i just found the forum today and i thought i might get a faster response here

in searching on the web that this "debugger" error is a somewhat common issue with the family of "tycoon" programs but none of the commentary online suggests a viable solution to fix this issue...i also tried to install it on my desktop computer which is running Windows Me and it has the same problem.

There are a lot of "tycoon" games out there. Did you find that error specifically for Fish Tycoon for Windows - the only one developed by LDW? If so, I'd be interested in having a look.

I didnt stop to think that the other "Tycoon" programs might not be made by your organizeation. Bad assumption on my part. With a quick look back to the web about it I find the most commentary on lemonade, rollercoaster, and airport and no listing of Plant or Fish tycoon. Am looking forward to playing the purchased version of this game as I love the online version (it runs fine). I am pulling out my hair in not being able to get this to work...am like a kid at christmas waiting to open presents. I look forward to getting this issue worked out and any help is greatly appreciated
