I love it when you open FT and it comes up with its announcements, e.g. "You have completed a research level" or "You have found [Magic Fish]" when you discover a new magic fish.

I know that you can look in the Statistics to find out how many species you have discovered, but often it's difficult to spot the new fish amongst all the others, particularly if (as in my case) you've already found 200+.

How about an announcement each time you discover a new breed? Then you'd be able to keep more accurate records and not miss any new fishies :-)

I can totally relate to that. I'm hooked on the game so every little thing is awesome. Even though I've only discovered 43 species, it's getting harder to keep track. I would love an announcement each time there was a new one discovered.

Just don't get the announcement in the screen saver mode. You can't close the screen saver until you close the announcement and that is not easy seeing as you can't see the cursor.
