I hate to say this about any LDW game as I've been an enthusiast of 19 years (which is like 4/5 of my whole life) but this is one of the worst games I've ever played. Terrible game design with no intention for player to have fun at all. I've actually paid to buy heron but I heavily regret it because I've figured out that every puzzle or task in this game is just some boring janitorial stuff targeting to bore player into emptying his pocket. Puzzles in original VV's were intriguing and cleverly designed, and rewarded the players with the lore. VVDD puzzles are just random mystical looking stuff thrown together with no lore. We don't know any single thing about the story of VVDD. VVO2 suffered from similar problems (ie. there's randomly a kraken in the middle of the village and there's no explanation abt it.) but it was at least playable and somewhat enjoyable, so I've tolerated it. VVDD is just an abomination. I refuse to consider it as VV6, as it doesn't explain:
*When does it take place? After events of vv5? another universe?
*which part of the isola does it take place in?
*what are the stories behind these crypts and stuff?
*What happened to golden child? who was biggles?
*Are asura and isola somehow connected?
I've waited for a vv6 for years but I ain't have time to do all this boring stuff as a college student, and I ain't paying for lavastones to smooth it out either.
PS. Plant Tycoon is my fav game and I've been wanting a sequel for years. Hope yall make one soon and hope that it will have what made the first one beautiful, bc yall seem to have forgot how to make beautiful VV games.

I still wonder what they were trying to set up in VV5. That last Biggles event where there's people we have not met yet, that don't value nature or something and they only like magic... who knows what the original plans if any for VV6 would have been. Where would it have taken place on Isola? Also what was up with that event where the Golden Child disappeared?

The VV6 we have now seems like an excuse plot. Unfortunately there's not really a theme or an end goal connecting all the puzzles like VVO2.
What I'd like to know is:
Who's the evil sorcerer? What's the Dark Veil?
Where did all our beloved villagers from VV 1-5 go?
Why is Isola constantly falling into ruin?
Is Isola part of an archipelago? Is Asura and Isola Mystica part of it?
Who's the weird observer dude we see in VVO2?
