My mouse will not move down the screen far enough to click on the "Done" button or the "Details" button. I can hit Esc to in place of the Done button but I haven't found a shortcut to access the details screen.

Any suggestions?

You can try changing between full-screen and windowed mode, which has helped other people.

Here is a list of keyboard shortcuts for the game:
Space – Pause
P – Puzzle screen
D – Detail screen
M – Map Overview
T – Technology screen
F1 – Full Screen / Windowed mode
Esc – Go back to previous screen/ Exit to menu from the game
