I keep seeing people talk about getting lavastones by watching ads, but I've not seen any ads pop up yet, and I can't find them in settings either, and there doesn't seem to be a special building where you watch ads, so I'm a bit lost.
How often are these supposed to pop up?

Is the ad feature even supported on the windows 10 version of the game at all?

If not, is this game even playable without that source of lavastones?

(If you're confused about me posting this in the 'mobile games' section, windows 10 has the same apps as windows phones. The game is called virtual villagers origins 2, and this is the only forum dedicated to that game.)

The option to watch video ads is only available in the mobile app versions of the game, which you can find in the iOS, Android, Amazon and Samsung app stores.

You can always earn Lavastones through random events in the game, the trading ship, exploring volcanic cracks, watching video ads, the daily reward calendar and much more!
