I'm getting more hybrids and spontaneous regular plants in the past 2 to 3 days. It makes the game more interesting. I also noticed that the bins get full of rubbish in the mornings and there's less on the ground for me to pick up. Maybe it's a new version.
I plant in a checkerboard pattern.

Sunflower I just downloaded the newest version but didn't see any difference in hybrids. It did seem like I was getting more bugs though and my beauty meter was improving as well..

Since the 6.0 version, hybrids won't grow in my garden, but grow like crazy in other parts of town without me having to do anything. I'm only missing two now. I won't update the game until I get them

Yeah! I made it to 100% beauty and I have all the population I can have.
