Try approaching from the side. I started going to the left side of the house (my left) and clicking on the door from there, and it works every time! I can't get in at all if I approach from the front.

Just out of curiosity, which lot did you select to build your house on? Is it the one on the far left, near the river?

Yes, near the lake. I wanted a nice view!

Tygerkittn, we released an update in (each) app store that resolved that issue. Have you downloaded that update?

I'm using BlueStacks to play it on the PC, I can't see it well on the tablet and I'm kinda clumsy with the swiping.
I haven't figured out how to download from googleplay on the PC, it just says I don't have a device connected. I have to just install the APK file to the bluestacks folder. I'll have to get my husband to get the update on the tablet and move it to the PC if possible. I've never tried that with an update. I can buy things in games, I've done that before, not sure why other stuff doesn't always work. It may be my settings.
It's very addictive, I like it a lot. Thank goodness for Bluestacks, because the casual games I love so much have all moved to the tiny android screens. Virtual Town looks fantastic on my huge monitor!

My PC has 1:-( i so badly wanted to play it in PC.

Maybe try youwave? I used it for awhile, it's not as fancy as bluestacks so it might work better.
Maybe it will come out on steam!
