I could be wrong, but I think it follows the weather in the Northern Hemisphere seasons. We next-to-never get snow in my area, but I get occasional snow in VT. I know the poor Australians are enduring a VT winter right now, even as they head out for a beer to cool down from the summer's heat.

I like VT snow because it's pretty... as it is in real life, until someone screeches, "We've got to shovel the roof before it collapses!" Or "Honey, it's time. My water just broke."

I like VT rain for an entirely different reason, heh heh.
