My husband traded one first in his game and found out the hard way. By the time someone asked me I "just said no" with a clear conscience. Then the villager said she would find someone else to do her evil bidding, she has that right!

I tried to convince myself that it balanced out with the peeps who asked for something like a Ladybug or a Bee and gave you an encyclopedia in return, but no, it didn't. As long as peeps are asking for gold tools,

That reminds me of when one of my mom's townsfolk asked her for a rare bug. I honestly thought the limit was gold tools, but rare bugs. . .at least they don't do it very often.

I figured out that there will be one of every bug that people ask for in the daily quest. So if they ask for a cicada, there will be one cicada out there somewhere. So when they ask for a rare bug, I catch it and then give it to the museum to add to my collection. wink
