I'm on my 21st generation, so I guess it's kind of late to post about this, but my tutorial was progressing till it said to buy a new couch, and drop it in the room. I did it the first time, and then I just tried it again, but it won't say it completed it.

Hi SarahGiraffe. The tutorial wants you to place the couch that was in your decor tray when you first began the game. If you no longer have it, this post should help you.

Yes, I did get rid of the first one, haha, but I bought the couch you said to buy, dropped it in the room, and fixed the tutorial.

Excellent! The tutorial can be pretty picky, lol! I'm sure there are other players in the same predicament, having sold that lovely "starter couch" before it wore out all of it's usefulness.
