My first family is now into their 18th generation, and things are starting to get boring, so I started a new family. I forgot that there would be a couch included, for snuggle-time, and bought a second-hand loveseat. Then I hauled the ratty old couch out to the curb...BEFORE my girl got married. Obviously a big mistake, because although they used the loveseat as a love nest, and had a handsome baby boy, the tutorial is still trying to tell me to drag a couch into the house.

I bought another couch and tried to use that, but the message just won't go away. (I also closed the game and started it back up again...still no joy.)

Is there anything I can do to make it disappear? I know I won't get the last few coins for handling all the tasks, but I guess that's the price I pay for jumping the gun.

Follow-up: I also got rid of both the couch and the loveseat, and bought another ratty couch. No change.

Hi Scully. Your problem is absolutely fixable. Go to the Living Room section of the Store and purchase the Usable Couch. It's listed between the bluish Used Couch and the Second Hand Loveseat.

Drag the Usable Couch down from the Decorate Tray and place it in your house. The tutorial should acknowledge it and stop asking you to place it. Please let me know if this resolves the issue for you.
