Hi I am Austin. If you have seen any of my posts you probably notice some of them are pretty long. So sorry about that. The problem is I type really fast... probably as fast as I talk. So, by the time I have thought an issue through my fingers have typed a small novel. It would be great if I could spell too... but no such luck. LOL I figure the long posts will taper off soon, since I won't have much more to say. :-D

I first learned about LDW through VF2. After I started my first family I fell in love with the game and realized there must be a VF1 so I went and got that one immediately too.

I played them both at the same time, for a while. But, after getting the all the upgrades in VF1 and lots of money finally around Gen 10 I let them move to the island they kept talking about in email.

I am on about Gen 19 to 20 with my 5 families in VF2 now. I am thinking of trying some of the other VV games, but I did try the True Believers one and deleted that pretty fast.
1. It was way more complicated than I wanted a game to be for me anyway.
2. I really couldn't deal with the fact that the little peeps seemed to be treating me as a god. Not into that at all... unless I didn't understand it. That could be the issue too.

Any suggestions? Any other LDW games that are similar to VF2?

Hello Austin! I'll suggest vv3 or vv4, also, you might like like Plant Tycoon or Fish Tycoon, the VVs are a little harder, because the villagers rely on you a lot, even farther in the game, so maybe VF2 is right for you, and believe me, you aren't the only one who has fallen in love with it wink

I know! This game is addictive! I just love it. I am thinking about starting up VF1 again too now that I know about the mods. There are a BUNCH of really cool mods here for VF1. I have all the ones for VF2 installed and they are fantastic. I love the peeps on VF2 sooooooooooo much. They are so much cutier than in VF1. I think I will also buy the plant and fish tycoon games you mentioned just to check them out.

Thank you VV3 girl123 for saying hello. That was very kind of you. You made me feel welcome to this forum. :-)
