Hi,

If anyone has sent children off to boarding school before, please share your experience. I've done it once before, I'd like to here other peoples view of how the kids sent benefited or were disadvantaged from it.

Click to reveal..
I had two girls, Saphesse (I think) and Fate. Both were sent upon turning 14 . I naively thought the kids would visit home weekly, bimonthly, or every quarter... nope, they don't.

The one I chose to randomly inherit the house was Saphesse (if that was her name, I disliked her so I don't really remember it). In a nutshell she made 500 coins a day at her peak. Before dropping down to 200. I don't know if it was a glitch or if anyone has had similar experiences.

She was also a meanie of a mother! Horrible, horrible woman.

Hmm... maybe I need,to edit my original post. I was, referring to sharing experiences of what happens after the people in VF2 return from boarding school, not one's own real kids.

ok, funny story, once, Before my parents first had their kid, Stacey(I thought of that name) I saw her with long pretty strait hair, and blue eyes. I knew she was going to take on the house, so i bought a outfit for her and awaited her arrival, when she finally came, I tried putting the outfit in her, but it kept saying "This outfit is for a female!" until I checked her profile and knew that Stacey,was...a...HE!!!! I sent him of to boarding school! Don't mean to be offensive, but I really don't like boys with long hair, Just EW!

I am wondering where do I find the upgrade that allows a child to go to boarding school in the PC version? Is there one, or is it only available a a specific time or generation of family? I have looked through the shopping stuff, and through the menu items, and the upgrades, and I cannot seem to find it. Is it something only available for MAC or Ipad or smartphone versions?

Hi Magesteff. The peep upgrades are available in all versions of the game.

To access the "Upgrade Me!" section for each of your little people:
1) Click your little person to select them, then click their portrait (picture) near the bottom-left of the game play area, opening their "Details" screen.
2) Click the purple "badge" labeled "Upgrade Me" at the upper-left corner on the Details screen. You will now see all the upgrades that are available for that little person. You may see checkmarks on services that you did not purchase. Don't worry, these checkmarks just mean your little person does not need these services at this time.
3) Choose the upgrade you want, click "OK' to dismiss the confirmation, then click "Done" to return back to the game play area. Voila! smile
