Hello,I have a few things wrong with my game..

1...the mother will not work,she has never earned one cent she is now 40 years..when you put her in front of the computer she sits there for a a second and then she walks away..she never does anything..her progress chart is blank there is no activity at all..

2...mother and son sometimes uses the toilet at the same time..
they go in together and the door closes and they do their business and then they come out together..


3..i live in the east and its now june (summer) yet every day it snows.Help

Hi babylocks. Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your game. Is it Virtual Families 2 or the original Virtual Families? My response below assumes that it's VF2.

1. Regarding the mother who won't work, what is her profession? Does she have any dislikes? What (if any) career upgrades are in the office?

2. Yes, sometimes the peeps go in the toilet together.

3. The weather conditions are random. It snows in my game too and I love in sunny California. LOL! You can shut down the game and then reopen it and the snow will be gone. There are also fun bottles of different weather sometimes available in the Flea Market.

Hi babylocks. Your little person is at the Apprentice level in her career/profession but her profession is not Apprentice. Her profession is listed directly above that. I've attached a screenshot to illustrate it.

In order to move any furniture you need to first open the Decor/Decorate Tray. Just click the Decorate Tab (or the Decor button). Then you'll be able to:

• Move the furniture around the house.
• Place furniture back into the Decor Tray to save for later.
• Drag unwanted furniture outside the gate to sell it.

Sorry to report a new problem...I am on my second family and for some unknow reason each time the man earns money working the bank does not increase..I hear the sound of money,i see the message that says he earns money but the bank does not increase...so i signed out of the game and signed back in and it moved one cent..and when it happened again i did the same thing but this time it did not work..He has worked for awhile now but no money..i hear the sound of money but the balance does not move...help

That's probably normal, depending upon what his salary is now. Unlike the original Virtual Families game, VF2 doesn't display fractional money amounts, so he would have to earn almost a full coin on a work cycle before you will see the bank amount change. When an adult's salary is low (e.g. less than 100), you may not see an increase in the bank balance until they have completed several work cycles. You will see the bank change much more often at the higher career levels.

That's perfectly OK, especially when your little persons are at the start of their careers, and don't earn much money. Each time they complete a work cycle they will get paid a small fraction of their daily wage as a bonus. I'm not sure, but I think it's 1%. Therefore if they are only earning something like 50 coins a day, they would get a bonus of half a coin. Since the bank shows only whole numbers, the fraction is carried forward until they complete a work cycle which takes them up to a whole coin, which then shows in your bank.

The daily wages are paid in (I think) hourly payments. Although you might hear a 'ching' noise there isn't any message to let you know it has been paid.

thank you both...another question....how does coin and more work...example, if i paid $19.99 will i get $175,000.00 in my bank? are coins the same as bankable money..so i can fix the house faster..thanks for your help.

also is there a way to have the same family on 2 devices,because i have 2 different families on 2 different device..iphone and tablet..would be nice to have same family on both..

Yes, when you purchase coins from the Coins and More section, your bank account balance will be increased by the number of coins shown in the item you buy. There are other items in there that permanently lower the cost of food and medicine, and increase the number and value of collectibles that appear in the yard.

Our games don't support syncing between devices. There are different opinions about that, but we have chosen to have one family per device. Many people like having different families when they have multiple devices, and syncing families between devices would require an Internet connection in order to play. We think that's an inconvenience that many people would rather avoid.

something new had happened, i need help..my lady has not had any proposal of marriage in 2 days..none.or any children to adopt..shes dying..something is wrong,i cant lose all this money in the bank to start over..

Hi babylocks. The first thing you should do is adopt a child. To do this open the Store category, tap/click on Special Upgrades and tap/click Adoption Services. For the price of 4,000 coins you can adopt a child.

Next, check your adults Details page. Next to "Married" does it say "No"?

You are playing the iOS version right? Could anything have happened that changed the clock settings on your device?

You may be interested in knowing that in Virtual Families 2: Our Dream House, if there are no children to inherit the house after the adults have passed, your game will not end. You'll get a message stating that your family has been lost and that you need to choose someone new. You'll be taken to the Adoption screen (not the Family screen) where you can scroll through all the peeps and choose someone new to start a family with. You will not lose any of the money in the Family Bank, nor will you lose any renovations, decor items, completed goals, etc.

This new person will be placed on the Family screen (as well as their spouse and any children they may have), will count as the Next Generation, but they will not be "branched" from the previous generation on the Family Tree. (This is also true for the desktop version).

Hi all VF2 afficionados. I'm experiencing a bug in my house (and not the collectible kind.) For some reason my peeps aren't able to pick up socks. These are right in clear view in the middle of the floor, not hidden by furniture. I'll place a peep on the sock, they bend over to pick it up, then just walk away from it. I've tried closing out of the game and starting up again and this doesn't help. I'm into my 9th generation and haven't had this happen before. Anyone else having this problem? I now have about 5 or 6 socks around the house and it's getting messy! BTW, they are able to pick up wrappers just fine. The problem is only with the socks.

Remember you told me that i would not lose any money when she died, well she died and i lost all the money in the bank..i now have a man and i had to start with what he brought into the house...I am so upset because i had over $2000.00..i dont know what to do now..there is a bug somewhere..its hard to start over from zero...i'll never be able to afford anything..very sad

Hi babylocks. I'm sorry that happened to your game. When your person passed away without anyone available to inherit the house, the game should have done exactly what I described.

Based on what you've posted, it does sound like your game is not functioning normally. Can you describe what happened when your person passed? What messages did the game give you? Did you have any rooms renovated? If so, are they still renovated? Are the Goals your person achieved and Decor Items all still there?

The game said nothing just that she has passed and i needed to choose someone new..so i chose a man.I lost all the money in the bank and started from what he brought into the game..now the same thing is happening again the game had not offered anyone to marry at all,so he is very depressed and i cannot afford to pay for a child because i lost all the money from before..I have 2 rooms decorated the back and front patio and a few furniture.Thats all still there,i just keep losing money and not getting any marriage offers..hes on his 2 days so far..i think he will die too and i will lose his money also..at this rate i will never be able to afford a child.....I wonder if i should delete the game and reinstall it again..I am upset that i will lose all the decor that i have already made to the house...what do you think????should i start over????

No, if you delete the game you will lose everything.

Does the time on your device keep resetting? If it does, that affects the game and the marriage proposals will stop, other emails, etc will stop coming. If you can, fix whatever changes the clock on your device.


Mine was caused by changing batteries, I don't have an American cell phone plan yet, and I didn't want to roam my phone so I took out the sim card, meaning my phone needs me to manually adjust the time every time I switch batteries. I fixed this by using one battery and keeping it on the charger, so I never have to switch the phone off.

Thank you both..after 3 days he died without receiving any marriage offers,just like the woman before.I chose not to adopt from the new generation because i lost all my money again(after he died)...so I deleted the app...I will continue playing on my tablet(had 2 different games on 2 devices)..Tablet is working fine caring for 4th generation now.I will reinstall app in a few days and try again..it was just faster to pull out my phone and play no matter where i was during the day...thank you for all your help..will let you know when i reinstall app on my phone..thanks again.....PS what is that orange thing sitting next to the trash can, it says they need to do something first,what??
