I did. It still didn't work. And wouldn't a higher resolution cut the bottom of the game off more?

And if the problem is my resolution then why does VV5 run with no problems?

The higher the resolution the smaller the game window will appear. If your resolution is 1024 x 768 the game window will be the same size as the screen. I run mine at 1600 x 1200 so there is plenty of space around the window. However not everybody has as large a screen (20") as I do. I assume you are running VV5 in full screen mode, which explains why you're not having problems with that game. Can you see the Windows title bar, with the name of the game at the top, and the minimise, maximise and close button at the top right?

I got it to work!!!! Thanks to everyone for their help.
I used my mouse wheel to zoom and make it as small as I could until I could get the buttons on the bottom to show. Then went from there. And I hanged the setting to full screen.
My family is alive and well.

And just an observation, but they seem to be more intelligent than the peeps in VF1. Maybe because I chose some with a high paying profession.

Now if I could only get a red glove in VV5. lol.

I also play on my ipod.

I've noticed the same thing! Although my Wood Caver/Salad Packager is not amongst the highest paying jobs, I find them very intuitive.
