Just got the game - love it!

I dropped someone on the spiders and thought I caught a glimpse of text saying there was more than one way to renovate a room. Rather than re-traumatize my little peeps to see the message again, I thought I'd ask here.

Can we do some of our own renovations, like in VF1?

I'm sorry, kittyhawk, but I'll need a bit more information. Do you mean "mods" as your own renovations? If so, then, no, as the iOS platform does not allow access to the game's image files.

Perhaps the message you saw was: "You've discovered a room in need of renovation. Renovations can be purchased from the Store, and there may even be alternative ways to fix one or two of the rooms."

If you mean DIY renovations like fixing the floor in VF1, then no, it is not possible to renovate the rooms like that.

Decorating the rooms, however, is up to you, as there is a multitude of furniture available in the store.

That's the message!
