One of the kids kept being sick, so I gave him penicillin, but when I checked back an hour later he was sick again and then I gave him vancomycin. After that he hasn't been sick again, so I guess that helped. But it didn't count for completing the goal of curing a grave infection. I'm guessing it's because I didn't consult a doctor, but is it meant this way?

Another health question, one of the parents just died, he was only 58, did I miss an infection or is that normal? frown He seemed healthy 1.5 hours ago and I only buy organic groceries. Most of my previous people got older, and I would think they get healthier as the house improves?
There are still 2 kids in the house, if I go to the next generation now, can I choose them too? Or only the kids that already left the house?

I'd guess so. The doctor has to pronounce on whether it's a "grave" infection. I certainly wouldn't recommend giving the peeps vancomycin or even penicillin without a doctor's prescription; in fact, IIRC, there's a warning about it in the game.

Although 58 is fairly young, it's not an unusual age for the peeps to die. You should be able to choose the next generation from all the peeps' children; that is, those still in the house and those who have gone to college.
