One of the reasons that I loved this game is because of the children..I want lots of them..So when I am only allowed to have 1 child to parents who both wanted children, and they start graying (their hair, which is way too early to have gray hair),and they are 40 years...I gave up caring about them..I know its wrong but I stopped caring about them..Whats the point if there are no children..By the way I did spend $500 for the injection which did not help..I currently have over $600 million so you know I have been playing for awhile..I want children,or I dont care...sorry..Thank you

Which version of the game are you playing - Windows, Mac, iOS or Android? Some of the free versions allow only one child in each generation, but the full versions all allow you to have 6 kids in every generation.

Thanks for your reply..I am playing a full version,I have always been able to have 5 to 6 kids..but recently i am only able to have 1 who did not want children of his own, which makes it almost impossible to have a family..The family I have now are 40 with no kids..so i have given up..I only visit them to feed them because there is nothing else to do..no one to care for..Tks..PS the injections dont work..

Hi babylocks. Please don't give up on your little Virtual Family. You didn't say if you were using a computer or a handheld device to play your game.

If you're using a computer this thread will help you. It includes a link to tell you how to make a backup copy of your family so that if they do not have any children you can 'reinstall' from an earlier time when the adults were still young enough to have children. I recommend doing that now.

Also, even though the male doesn't want kids, he can still have them. There have been times where my couples have had a hard time having children, I just was very persistent. Sometimes it paid off with twins! This thread has more information on babymaking. smile

"It ain't over until it's over". Good luck! smile

Something that will help a lot, if you haven't already done this, is to be persistent every time you want the family to have a baby. If they argue, interrupt their argument and try again. If they just stand there, try again. Always keep putting them together until they decide to go jump on the bed.

Another thing that helps is to always make sure that you attempt to make a baby every time you start the game up until you have the full number of children that you want. They will usually tell you it's too soon the first time you start the game after the previous baby was born. Putting the parents together right after launching the game will reset that timer and allow you to try again sooner.

Thanks..Let me tell you what happened..At age 57 the lady died with no children(i am using the computer). Then a marriage proposal came for another 57 yr woman who also wanted children, so I adopted her...The man died within a hour of the marriage leaving her..then the game said I had to start over..so i lost $900 million dollars and I still had not collected all the pieces for the game..I was so hurt, because I thought that the system would have given me the option to adopt a child..It did not..So i have started over........I will take your advise about backing up a copy...Thank you very much..

That happened to me too but I'm on iPad I thought you could readopt another person and keep going then. I had like 17 or 18 generations and I tried like 5 times to try to get a child but then 57 came and I came back and they both died in the fiftys. I worked on it about a year had like 10 million and had every upgrade and then I saw it said game over and I looked under the family thing and it didn't have the start a new generation or what ever it says and I was mad... Very... Then I almost cried bc I worked so hard. Please fix that on the vf2. And pleeeeeeease pleeeeeeease hurry I've been waiting almost half a year and it still says feb. 8 2012 and 80% ! Please respond to this and tell me at least the month it's release... Ps I'm sorry this post is so long..pss this is very hard to type this on iPad. cool
