Cute! LOL! I wonder if they'll be anything like the GigaPet or the Tomagotchi (my son had both when he was a child and of course I loved taking care of them when he was at school).

Arthur called her, and I quote, "it's a pink and white freak!!" He and Carla (the real person, not the LPP) were cracking up over her! The odds of a mutant are only about 1 in a 1000, but the odds of a mutant named Carla, according to Arthur are about 1 in 50,000 (or so). The odds of getting a Neapolitan ice cream mutant named Carla have to be astronomical!

Aaaaaaw, she is So cute Barbara - I just love the tail. lol Does the new game have 'mutants'?? Or is that giving the game away, so to speak?? That attachment wouldn't allow me to open in another tab but I emailed it to myself and saw Carla in all her glory!! Still can't get over that string-of-Maltesers tail. rofl. Thank you Barbara. <3 <3 <3

See? I knew LDW would reward us for our patience! VF was really fun, wonder what VF2 will be like? I know it'll be fun lol. Lonely Pets, not to sure about that one but hey, LDW is making it so I'm sure it will be phenomenal!!

I'm looking forward to playing VF2 as well, but am a little dubious about Lonely Pets, though. It doesn't really sound like my kind of thing. I'm with you, Arnie, on both counts. Although, it's nice to see there'll be something for all to enjoy!

I've never really seen the attraction of Tamagochi-type pets although I must admit to never having tried one. Who knows, I might get hooked?
I suppose, though, that in a way, the VV and VF games are really based on that sort of game with the added complications of the fact that we are looking after more than one - over 100 in the case of some VV games - and the addition of puzzles/challenges. We look after our villagers/families, and feed them, teach them, and so on. We tend to care about what happens to the peeps, are sad when they die, and our proud of them when they succeed. The two Tycoon games are also variations on the theme, with the addition of trying to make money (and solving puzzles, etc.)
I'll certainly give Lonely Pets a try, just because it's from LDW, even if I don't end up buying it.
