it's absurd trying to view the topics with such a narrow column now. the columns of left and right side rubbish are so wide, and they can't be adjusted for width, in order that i can have a wider area for what i actually WANT to read.

add to this the annoying yellow flashy icons in there (i totally HATE flashing icons!) and all those stickies at the start that have nothing whatsoever to do with what i'm searching for (why are stickies not confined only to the topics to which they directly relate?), makes me avoid your rotten forum here. it's just too much trouble.
result is i avoid all your games as well. i bought a few, but seldom even open one now. then when i do play for a bit, have a question, i just close the game in frustration, rather than go to this absurd forum that can't be read to deal with more frustration. don't expect me ever to buy another, unless/until i can read the forum (and then, only if i ever bother to look here again. may be too late already).

since i never, ever EVER use in-yer-facebook or twitt, i'd prefer to have some means to shut off those areas entirely. why not make those and the smileys a drop-down option, move everything to just one side of the REAL forum. better still, provide some means to make them go away altogether.
calendar as well, is something i see as useless, tho yeah, some peeps might like to use it maybe once a year.
"new members" is kinda pointless: just a way to see your name there until somebody else signs up (personally, i prefer privacy, never WANTED my name there, and couldn't wait for somebody else to join).
"online" should be an opt-in maybe. why not shut this one off for those of us who select "off" in this area? seems fair that if you don't see my name, then i can't see yours. (thanks for this "off" option btw. without it, it's unlikely i'd ever have made it this far. i value my privacy!)
good forums have a "user options" area where we could shut off a lot of this stuff that we never use and don't want to see. your "my stuff" does not address these areas. any of these ideas might help to make the forum readable, which at this time it is not. please consider it.
