i play vf which i brought from a shop and now i would like to own vv but i cant find any local shops to buy it from can i download it my friend says she thinks i can download it free without buying the game(cant see it myself)

We do not sell CDs anymore, but you can buy and download any of the Virtual Villagers games from us here. We offer free trials of all of our games as well - hour limit for Windows, feature limited for Macs.

Downloading any full version non-freeware game for free is known as piracy and is illegal in the US and many other countries.

You can certainly download VV from Last Day at Work's site - here is the link for VV1 - but it's a free trial version. After an hour, it will expire unless you buy it ($9.95 for VV1).

There may be other sites around where they perhaps bundle VV1 with (say) VV2 and sell two for the price of one, but I don't know of one.
