I only have one female and she is in her 60's. no-matter how hard I try she is unable to have another baby. I have tried all the fertalizing potions and tring with everyone and nothing seems to work. Do I keep tring or just quit. is there an age limit????????

I've played all the VV games so I might be getting them confused but try this:
Set the females preference to Parenting and make sure she is at least at the Trainee level. Then close the game for a while (try an hour). **You might even check at 1/2 an hour.** Reopen the game and see if she has a baby.

Also make sure you have enough housing to support a larger population. smile

You're welcome. smile Since she's the only female you can also set all the males preferences to Parenting as well, making sure they are at least at the Trainee level. Hopefully the "stork" will arrive with a bundle of female joy.

Unfortunately, that won't work for Virtual Villagers 3: The Secret City. The "cut off" age in VV3 is 50. That means that it is impossible for the female to have any more children.

Don't give up though! You may still receive one of the many events that will boost your population!

Thanks Xay, I was concerned I might be confusing the games. So it only works with VV4 then?

naioka, I hope you get an event to keep your village going! LDW games are so awesome we just want to keep playing them over and over! Time to check on my Virtual Families now!

VV4 and VV5. smile It's harder, as you said, to get older ladies to have children, but it is possible if you are patient.
