I agree with elizaew. I am so tired of the collectibles. Who wants to spend endless hours scanning the screen looking for collectibles? Children like them, but I don't even bother collecting them anymore in Virtual Families. The rare ones should come up more often. Tuna Puzzler, does Earthquake cause collectibles to show up? I hate that I have to build up my tribe to max population to get the Earthquake. I don't like having a large tribe. VV5 is my least favorite of all the Last Day of Work games.

Tuna Puzzler, does Earthquake cause collectibles to show up? Yes, you get one unusual or rare collectible each time you use Earthquake, so you can get collectibles as often as Earthquake becomes available (every few minutes if you have a lot of Believers).

Hurrihottie-lol I agree, but the rascal and the heathens make the game fun, new, and interesting, right?

The only thing I don't like about this game is the same thing that I didn't like about vv3 and 4: Not enough events! lol
But that's probably just me. I love getting the events, so once a day just isn't enough. :P
Oh, and the collectibles are kind of tiny. I enjoy hunting them, but they're awfully small and sort of blend into the background, moreso than usual.
But hey, that's not really a huge deal.

That's what mods are for. The first thing I do when I install a new Virtual Villagers game is make the collectibles easier to see.

True, but I haven't found a mod yet that I like. But like I said, that's just me. ^_^

I just think VV needs to improve the speed. That game called my tribe is pretty fast, but it gets boring. There just have to be more things to do, instead of checking your tribe, then quiting for 5 hours, and repeating.

Actually, I think the walking speed is a bit faster in VV5 than VV4. Then again, the activity zones are pretty widely spaced in VV4 while they are closer in VV5.
