Each time I open my game, the one-eyed totem's eye glows bright blue for a few seconds before returning to normal color.

Anyone know why that is? Just visual effect, or is this part of a puzzle?

I'm glad I'm not the only one that wondered this! I been noticing that the eye turns blue, sometimes when it might be a storm? or when a villager passes away? I'm not sure, though.

When you complete the puzzle that results in the eye being placed in the totem, it glows blue as it "reveals" that corner. When you open the game, it "remembers" that the puzzle is completed, and glows before returning to normal.
