I'm just asking because there was a tip in the loading screen that said you can control that, however I don't get what it is referring to and am asking for clarification.
You can select the villagers you wish who should have a baby.
Or, you set the preferred skill of a villager on "Parenting" and she/he is looking for a partner himself. But be careful: if you do that with a male he will embrace with all females until all of them have a baby and you can not control that
