They don't actually. You'll only see them again when their parents die and you have to choose one of them to inherit the house.

Yep! In the first generations they'll go till around 57. After that they tend to live longer.

So far both up to 61

I got my parents to die. Then I chose the one girl I had to inherit the house. But then I realized that she had been adopted when she showed up on the doorstep. She wasn't really of their bloodline. I started over so the bloodline will actually be kept this time.
