But now she is 45 and if she doesn't get married soon, the game will end. What do I do? And even if she gets married, is 45 too old to have a baby?

That is bad news! Since she already had a child I don't know if she will get another proposal. Hopefully someone else knows. 45 is not too old to have a baby, but after 50 it's not likely. Maybe you will be lucky enough to get an adoption. What generation is this?

This is the second generation. So, a marriage proposal won't be likely even if the child passed away? Plus, she was adopted.

Unfortunately, marriage proposals don't come if there's a child on the family tree for that generation, even if they are no longer living. She may still get an adoption event, though. The best way to make sure you get as many events as possible is to check on the game very often, so that you won't miss any of them.

If you keep her living as LONG as you can, there is an increased chance for an adoption. I hope you can get through this hard cycle.

I'm on a first generation & despite all my efforts my couple won't have children, I can only hope for an adoption event as they are too old now.
