What is the use of the pet dog. I bought one for the 2nd generation and no one even pays attention to him.

it has no use except satisfy the gamers need to have a pet. lol. it does tend to follow a chosen one around but they never notice. i like the cats but its the same thing and i found the turtle is even more neurtal.

is there any way to sell it back?

I'm a cat person but the cats in VF were too naughty for me... it made me crazy when they would scratch the furniture. So I only have dogs now. Here's the family pet:

i like the pets, i wish the family would interact with them though and it would also be good if you could have more than one at a time, id love to have all the pets that are available in the store

They pay more attention to the fish and birds than they do dogs, cats, or turtles. At least they feed the birds/fish and interact with them in other ways (look at, bother, etc).

i know they feed the fish and birds but i just thought it would be better if they interacted with the cat and dog. i feel sorry for my poor dog wandering around with no attention!

I agree that it's sad that the actual pets don't get attention. ...is it pathetic that on occasion I have been known to pretend to pet the cat or dog? lol

I love having pets, espcially the turtle because i love turtles However, i really wish they paid attention to the pets, and that you could have more than one, and possibly control it. If ever there is a VF 2, i hope they include this.
