You can't change the game speed in Virtual Families, so all games are at 'normal' speed. And the actual number of hours per peep year is closer to 4 than 2.

Babies are an exception to the general rule of time passage in Virtual Families. Babies will be weaned in 4 hours (at age 2). Weird, I know, but that's how Arthur wanted it!
