In game time I consider that old. I've had a few live to 70 but more often 68-69 years old.

Oldest I've had is 71

My oldest is 65.

I think the average life expectancy is that they live to their early 60s, although some will live longer and some have a shorter life. They tend to die a little earlier when a game is in the first few generations, probably because they can afford the organic food and other things like the air purifier and treadmill to keep them fit.

Most VF people live between 30-40 yrs ,living on healthy food of course. But if their a young child then they usually live from 2-60 yrs but most live to be 65 then you get the ''WISE'' award.

30-40? What do you mean? I've never had a VF peep die of old age between 30-40 yrs.

I think virtuoso means they live that long if they are adopted as adults at the very beginning or are chosen as a spouse. They are in their 20s at that time, so will live another 30-40 years until they die of old age in their late 50s or their 60s.

Children chosen to inherit, though, appear in the game from age 2, although they will usually disappear for a while while they are at college. Even if they inherit as a child they will automagically get older.

I think the life span is way too short. Most people in real life die of old age at 70-80.

It is especially in the first generations but their are many schools of thought on increasing longevity. feed the the fruits and vitamins from the store, buy only organic groceries,get the pool and treadmill and encourage exercise.... for the most part I have found in the early generations I can get to 65 easily just by purchasing the fruits and vitamins in the store whenever they show up and giving them to the parents. also I don't discourage exercise but don't praise for it until they have mastered their career.

As I usually note down peeps' age at death (or approximate age of death as you can't see it directly in newer versions of the game), I once went and calculated the average lifespan of my peeps (considering peeps from different families and generations - almost 200 or so total). I got an approximate age of 59 as the average. (though an average isn't always that significative, it wasn't that far off in this case, as most of my peeps usually die at ages 59-60).
