You could have just opened the image files it has all their uniforms in it

I had some villagers that either liked or disliked certain colors and I would change the outfit accordingly (if they liked blue, a blue outfit or if they disliked green, some other color). Just one more thing to pass the time on the villages I have that have solved all the puzzles....

is that a golden child costume? lolol

So you have to be in game play mode, click on a villager to select them and then press F6 (found on the top row of keys on your keyboard). Watch your villager closely, the clothes will change every time you press the F6 key until you get to the last outfit. If you go that far then your villager is stuck with that outfit.

It does work, I just tried it out. I also read that it's for Virtual Villagers 1 and not Village Sim. I hope this helps you.
