My items have frozen up in my store and haven't restocked in several days. I tried buying everything. Didn't help. I tried buying several different outfits as well. NOTHING! I am now on a whole new genertaion, well into it, and still no items to purchase. Ergo, I still have one floor repair to make that I'm not getting the option of a repair kit to purchase, etc. It's a pain. Big time. I'm stuck and need items! And the 'press "r" on your keyboard' thing, is the only advice out there, but it obviously won't work for those of us with the iPhone version of the game. I don't know what to do! Anybody got any ideas? PLEASE?

I hope so... because with no way to complete most of the remaining tasks and no way to acheive the remaining trophies, THERE'S NO REASON TO KEEP PLAYING. All games need to have a point. A hook. Some acheivement that awaits you.. if you just keep playing a little longer. A game has to have something to keep you interested. I should think that's obvious.. it's the reason that VF indeed HAS the whole task and acheivement and trophy list. It makes you feel like there's a point to the game. Otherwise, you'd only be playing at keeping your little people working, doing dishes and taking showers... which would obviously get rather boring, rather quickly. And I assure you, it DOES. This isn't just some peripheral concern, that can wait until the developers get around to looking at it. This is the WHOLE POINT OF THE GAME... BEING BROKEN! It would be just as big of a deal, if there was a rampant glitch in the game, where everyone's people just disappeared. How long do you think people would keep playing? How long do you think people would continue to buy this game? About as long as people will continue to, with THIS PROBLEM. I'm about done with this app/game. A waste of time, unless this gets remedied with all possible swiftness.

My store is doing the same the game is only a week old I am only on my second generation please help

I don't know when they did something about it... But now if I touch the tab at the top of my store screen, which says, "FAMILY STORE" my items finally restock once more! Thank goodness!

An update for the iPhone/iPod version of Virtual Families was released on June 3, 2010, and it fixed the store restocking issue.
