It's an event where a child knocks on your door and the choices are adopting the child and send it to an adopting center. (I think.)

VFLover09, you're right. It's just a "Family" event, you might say.

Adopting comes from an event. If you pick give to adoption center, you lose a child. If you you bring them in, you gain a child.

That's not correct.

Any existing children are not affected. If you chose to give the child to an adoption center, the child simply goes away.

I always choose to adopt the kid. Why do you think He or she knocked on your door in the first place? Because the kid wanted you to adopt Him/Her! wink
