"Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

This is the error message I receive when I try to run the VV4 setup file. I am the administrator, running Windows Vista. It's not an ownership issue of the file, I've already checked that.

Any ideas?

More troubleshooting..

Reboot.. no change
Deleted the file and downloaded again... same message
Downloaded unrelated setup file... no problems
Tried other executable files... no problems

I'm at a loss now.

It would help to know which site you downloaded the file from, since VV4 is available from many places, and the setup files are different for every site.
