I thought there was a topic about this and I searched and didn't find it so feel free to delete this post. Help! Waipi my only J.O.A.T. went missing! She is not in the

Roster of The Dead,
nor the graveyard and I don't see a skeleton in the auditorium. She isn't in the detail screen either. What do I do? She was my favorite!

How many villagers have died? There is only room in the graveyard for fifty tombstones but unless you have had the tribe running for several months she should appear in the

Roster of the Dead.
There is also at least one event when villager(s) can be killed but not appear on the ROD; it's the tsunami. Presumably the villager is dragged out to sea so is counted as 'lost' rather than 'killed'.
Another possibility is if you accidentally disturbed (possibly without noticing) the villager carrying the skeleton. In that case I don't think the deceased will appear in the graveyard, even if there is room. They should appear in the ROD, though.

Only one tombstone is in the graveyard and that is Itchi the former chief.

So i'm sure I didn't have any events like the tsunami.

i know that if the roster of the dead reachs 500 it stops and when a villager is carying bones if it's disturbed the villager will turn up in the roster of the dead shortly

By the way I always pick up the villagers when they're carrying skeletons because it's just so spooky.
