Hi,

I have just completed the Gong of Wonder and struck it for the first time, but as far as I can see nothing happened when I struck it. All it said was that I could strike it again in 24 hours. Is something supposed to happen when you strike the gong? I'd always thought that the game would end once I'd completed the gong but perhaps I'm wrong.

Make sure you keep the villager who struck the gong selected and you will see what happened at the foot of the screen. Sometimes the effect isn't immediately noticeable - you might get an increase or decrease in tech points, for example. If you've already got a lot of points you might not notice the change.

PLEASE don't take OFFENSIVE to ANY of this.
The ONLY thing I have VIEWED on this site is the EVENTS list,as I can see that it HELPS with the CHOICES or it ADDS/SUBSTRACTS stuff to the game or person. I have SEEN where you have the CLUES to ALL of the puzzles of the games in the forums, and I HAVE NOT looked, and TO ME that takes the ENJOYMENT of AND the STRATEGY of the game out.
I feel REALLY BAD in asking this, as I PRIDE myself in FIGURING games out or LEARNING them BY MY SELF.
I have beeen WAITING, PATIENTLY,I might add, to get Puzzle 6, looks to me like a manufacturing scissors lift, as I have worked in manufacturing for ALMOST 19 yrs.,and Puzzle 16,the LAST piece of the Gong, OR closer to the end of the other puzzles of the Gong. And I am thinking that this is what I need for these LAST 2 puzzles:

I have 4 people with 3 skills each in the adept stage. The reason in doing that is that in vv3, we have Jack of Trades. So I FIGURED in doing that in this one to get these LAST 2 puzzles. Is that the right DIRECTION in getting them?
I have the following COMPLETED:

Population MAXED at 100+
ALL 6 of the techs MAXED.
3 pieces of the Gong.
ALL building done.
ALL vines cleared.
Mosiac cleared.
STILL doing scientists and drs., as I have ENOUGH builders and farmers.

My ? is: WHEN will they become MASTERS.I have MASTERS in several people as ONLY 1 skill.
I was going to let them MASTER in 1 skill at a time, then thought that would take too long, as I don't know HOW long it takes to get to MASTER. I start my people to work at the age of 14,but ONLY 1 skill at a time.
Then I RETHOUGHT my strategy, and while the people were STILL young,decided to do 3 skills.

I SOLVED ALL the puzzles. SMILEY SMILEY. The 3 MASTER skills for the person was to find the LAST piece of the Gong AND become an Elder. I have 4 totems. Each person got 1. Now I guess I KEEP building Elders. SMILEY SMILEY. I don't understand what the PURPOSE of the Elder is yet. I guess as I still play, it will become CLEARER of their purpose.
It took ANOTHER hour to get them to the MASTER level. Now I'm going to get 4 MORE people,at an EARLY age, to get 3 Master skills. I still have 1 MORE of the pebbles to get ALL of the collections. I ALSO found that when you get ALL of 1 collection, your pop EXPANDS by 5. SMILEY. SMILEY.
It might be a VERY long time, BEFORE I leave this game and START the others. AND VV4 will have to be done in the FAR DISTANT future as I am HOOKED on getting this game done. DON'T answer this ?, but I was wondering, Does the game EVER end? I am going to continue to play and SEE for MYSELF. SMILEY. SMILEY.
My pop is STILL at 100+. I ALSO found that they make the babies WITHOUT touching the two people AFTER you reach 100 and when your OLD people dies, you can ADD more.
