Yeah, same thing with me. I had a villagers that was on of the first villagers here on the island. so he didn't have a mom or dad. But still he was constantly either 'looking for mommy' or 'looking for daddy' I became so annoyed with him I finally had to tell him "STOP! You don't have a mommy or daddy!"
